Oh, the T fold! That makes sense, I'll have to remember that.

I thought I sewed up all 36....5 fell where I didn't notice. Lol. I ended up just running 3 stitches width wise, because it was faster. I'll post pics when my squish arrives.

I don't have my newborn yet, but I'm hopeful that these will work.

Folded in thirds. Sewn 11" from the open end.

Open end folded for the tabs.

This is still crisp from being ironed, so it looks stiff. I seen this fold on a thread somewhere. It might have been with a Sweet Iris half flat. I may try sewing the 2 lines & not the edges. I have only 6 done so far.

I'm late to this party...

So you stitched a rectangle on this flat? I can't see very well for some reason...

Yes, that one was sewn as a rectangle. I ended up sewing 3 lines on the rest of them to save time. I'll see how they work before I decide to leave them like that or sew the edges as well.

Baby girl was born on June 4. Surprisingly my smallest at 8# 12 oz

I'm liking these! But we'll see absorbency wise now that my milk is in.

Would it be weird for me to try this with some of my husband's old cotton shirts? It's just a thought since has a ton of old cotton shirts he won't miss! lol
It seems like a good idea for some backup inserts.

I would try it with at least one shirt, see if it's for you. Then go from there.

Thank you! But now that my milk is in...she needs a doubler. I am still using them though, and they are working, so I'll still use them.
