I need an EO genius!

So I'm totally in love with the way that Burt's Bees Apricot Oil smells, my hubby, not so much, but I use it on me and we lather the girls up with it. Even if I buy it at Vitacost.com, it's still very expensive! I would like to start using Almond oil and mixing up my own scents. But I have no idea where to start or how to figure out what to blend.

Are there any sites out there that can give me recipes on what to mix with what to achieve a certain scent? I found one recipe that looked very yummy for a Body wash, but it called for shower gel base. What's that? Where would I find something like that?

TIA

I love sandalwood & rose & lavender together - or lime and lemongrass - grapefruit and bergamont. I really just grab whatever & mix. I found this website http://www.aromaweb.com/recipes/default.asp

I don't know of any eo blend you can use to mimic baby bee, but wsp carries the fragrance oil http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com...ProductID=6892 It's phthalate free too it makes yummy smelling soap They sell body wash bases too on there. I make my own liquid soap with lye so I can't really help you with those bases. Another site for making eo blends is http://www.rainbowmeadow.com/infocen...lendselect.php it's my fav eo blend site
