Name for old business?

Basically, my husband and I used to own a business/website that sold trendy-but-high-quality costume jewelry - mostly belly and nose rings, but we also carried italian charms and nearly every other kind of body jewelry. We made some stupid mistakes in the business (spent way too much on advertising) and ended up shutting it down, but we still have the inventory. I've been selling it on ebay, but their newest pricing model will make it again financially unfeasible to continue.

So I've been thinking of starting up the website again, but I'm not sure I like our original name. I need some help! The options above were available as .coms. What do you think?

Some pertinent facts:
1. Our clientele were mostly women who trended towards the "classier" jewelry - no skulls, swear words, etc. We mostly sold solitaires, gold rings, floral charms, etc.
2. I will not be restocking italian charms as they sell out - this site will mostly gear itself toward belly rings and nose rings and basic body jewelry (simple barbells, CBRs, etc.) But I don't want to get myself into a box with the name, either, if it will cause the perception that we only carry one type of jewelry. But will it? I don't know? It's just the web name... so confused. LOL

thank you for any ideas/thoughts you all have. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to yet another business to deal with under my WeeEssentials name, but we've got to clear this stuff out. It's fun, but it's just not my forte - I love what I already do with WeeEssentials and having a personal part in the creation. I'm just not much of a reseller. :P

Of course, if you are thinking of starting your own business, I'd be glad to sell the inventory and the database to you!

Oh, almost forgot! If you vote - comment at least to tell me you voted and I'll send you 20% coupon to the new site. Then you can look and see if there's anything you want, lol.

I voted for your original name. I don't particularly like names that have "Trendy" "Stylish" "Classy" etc. in them. Also, while I appreciate the offer I don't have any piercings (even my ears have closed up b/c I'm so allergic to metals), so I don't need a coupon!

I don't like "trendy" or "stylish" either, so I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! I'm pretty sensitive, too, to metals, which is how this business got started (after my SIL bought me belly rings from Claires that nearly destroyed my piercing!) I can only wear surgical steel and gold.

I voted for Body Bangles, too! I really liked that the best, and it's the type of name that I'd be more likely to visit. Does that make sense?

Okay, so maybe you, or another poster, can answer this for me: I had my navel pierced 4 years ago, but took the jewelry out when I hit my 3rd trimester of my first pregnancy. My belly button is no longer cute. But I'm wondering, if, when, it ever is again, would it be okay to get another piercing in the same place?

Re: Name for old business?

The more my husband and I talk, I think we'll stick with the original name, too. I got some strange reactions from people earlier; two said almost simultaneously that the name made them think of hula hoops, lol.

newwife777 - if the piercing closed up then you're going to have some scar tissue there that will not be good/easy to pierce through. I think your best bet would be to go to a good professional piercer and have them take a look to see if you could get it done again. They might be able to go deeper (my hole is now pretty shallow due to stretching from my first 2 pregnancies) or not as deep. Mine was shallow to start, and looks much better with a 1/2" barbell than the standard 5/8", so I wouldn't mind repiercing if the first hole would close up. :P

Haha, I totally did not think of hula hoops. I think you're safe with that (but how random!)
