Re: Just another double stroller thread

We have the Graco Quatro and I LOVE it. I used the infant seat in the back part even though it didn't exactly go with the stroller. It fit nice and snug. The ONLY issue I have with it is that it doesn't have a handle on the side like my old one did which would come in quite handy with such a heavy stroller. I'm not sure I would recomend it if you have a sedan with a low trunk...it's about 40#.

But all in all I love it. I had a bad front wheel that was making the stroller wobble a little even on smooth surfaces and I called Graco and got a brand new set of wheels for the front...for free!

I had a Quattro Tour Duo and it was awesome, but I couldn't push it very well at all with my 35lb 3 yo in it. I know someone who has a Zooper Tango for a baby and 3 yo and loves it. It's side by side and will hold an infant seat.

Re: Just another double stroller thread

Good to know. My ds is 34lbs at 2 so that might be hard to push.

Re: Just another double stroller thread

I got a steal on a P&T double at costco, I've been using it as a single for a couple of weeks and LOVE IT. I added the double seat just to see how it'd work for the baby on the way.. and I'm pretty sure it'll do exactly what I want it to.

I'd check costco.com, or craigslist. I paid $299 including the doubles kit, with free shipping.

Re: Just another double stroller thread

I am leaning towards the graco one you were looking at- I will have a 2 year old when baby #2 arrives and he is a car/stroller sleeper. So there is no way the sit and stand will work for us, I need one where he can lay down.

I looked at the phil and teds and would like to try one out, but I dont think my son will like being on the bottom and not being able to see anything.

The graco he can go in and out of the front seat on the graco since it just has the side cupholders, I liked that feature too.

Im right there with you, newborn and 37lb 3yr old. Need to find a good double stroller that will support both of them, but dont want to pay a whole lot either.
