What to do for warts?

My son has a wart on his finger. What do I do about it?

You can try buying the wart remover pads and freeze-off kits at the store, or try putting duct tape around it like a band-aid.

I personally have not had luck with any of those methods so we usually end up at the doctor to get them frozen or burned off.

Soak it in apple cider vinegar for 20 min a day, or if your son is younger use the easy method ... soak a small piece of cotton in apple cider vinegar, and put it over the wart, hold it in place with a band-aid.

This can take a few weeks or more to kill the wart but after a while you should notice the wart starts with a black spot (or more than one) in the middle, this is where the wart is dying. Eventually it'll all fall off. I've done this for warts for myself (2 warts) and my son.

I had a friend in high school who got warts, she would wrap duct tape around and leave it on for two weeks, when she took the tape off the wart came off with it. This may or may not work depending on where the wart is though

I use duct tape on mine. I put a small piece of duct tape then cover it with a bandaid and change it every day. They go away within a couple of weeks. When I was a kid, I had several cut off and/or burned off at the dr. I have scars from a couple of those and no scars from duct tape.

Does he have chalk? My oldest dd had tons of warts as a babe/toddler. WE played sidewalk chalk each day at the suggestion of a friend, and after a few weeks her warts went away. Don't ask my what ingredient did it, but it worked lol
