we tried yogurt once and she just finger painted - but that was cute too.

It is a dairy issue with potential allergy related problems. Not to mention, unless you make your own, it is high in sugar.

The first one was a plain greek yogurt but I think the flavor was too strong. I tried a stoneyfield yobaby apple recently and she actually maybe liked it a little.

My kids had issues with dairy when they were little. Not GI issues so much as the runny nose and watery eyes. We did avocado as a first food for my daughter - she disliked fruit until she was a little over a year old. My son has a sweet tooth and was into bananas.
