Stupidist Things ppl have said to you while babywearing

I had ds in a wrap on my chest. He was sleeping and only his head was sticking out (barely). I had a man in the mall rub ds's back (as if it was my stomach) and ask me if I was pregnant! I said "don't you see his head?!!"

Also wearing ds in the wrap, the nurse at the OB/GYN asked how I drive with him like that.

In the wrap or pouch ppl always ask if he is comfortable. I always say "yes" politely, but am thinking: "of course, he is smiling, chillin, or sleeping, what do you think?!"

or ppl ask if it is comfortable for me...no i hate it, that is why I do it...

Your turn

Ugh this one is horrible-

Whilder was less than 3 months old and she was asleep in DH's fleece peekaboo pouch. We were at a freshies restaurant and suddenly the lady behind the counter started freaking out (she didn't speak english) and we were like WHAT?! WHat's wrong?! She called the manager over and had him ask us if the baby could breathe in there like that. Ugh it was super embarrassing and just ridiculous, the nerve of some people!

The guy behind the counter at a coffee shop said, "Hey, a baby fell into your shirt! Heh heh heh."

And the proper response should be, "No, we are trying to see how long she can go without breathing." Duh. Some people. Like our goal in the world it to torture our babies.

I had someone freak out when DS stuck his little hand out of his pouch on the bus. They thought I was pregnant! I can't imagine how they would think a newborn in a cradle hold would look like a normal pregnant belly....

No one has ever said anything negative to me. I think I have one of those "Don't F with me" faces.
