Re: how about a wrap picture thread?

here is a Passionfruit colorway, BBSlen brand, 2.6 meter (shorty) wrap doing a Rucksack tied under bum (Ruck TUB). i am horrible at tying this carry and getting a nice seat, but with DH's help i can get it. here's how: here's how:

I lOVE the Passionfruit colorway. I have a sling-ified Passionfruit on its way to me! (sorry to hijack!)

Re: how about a wrap picture thread?

I wondered into this area out of curiosity and now I want to carry my LO!! What do you recommend for a short girl with big chest, carrying a very long heavy 3 month old (27inches, 16lbs)?? Also I am in FL so the fabric should be light.

Can I just go into the fabric store and buy how many yards of what fabric?

thanks! I am totally inspired.

(heck I might make this a new thread)

Re: how about a wrap picture thread?

Here's us on the 4th of July. I've got issues with my L shoulder, so this is a one shouldered carry with much of the weight supported at my torso, don't really know the name or if it even has one. The wrap is a Blueberry BBSlen. I'm 6 months pregnant in this pic and DS is about 30lbs.

And here's DS in his car seat. He loves to hold onto the wrap when we're going places

Re: how about a wrap picture thread?

I wandered onto thebabywearer the other day and was stunned by the whole world of wraps I didn't know anything about!

I am looking into getting a woven now, and am wondering what length I should go with. I have a newborn, so I'll still need to be doing a lot of carries that support her back. I'm thinking a 4.6 meter. Does that sound right?

Re: how about a wrap picture thread?

I looked up back carry in Youtube to find out how the baby goes on back. Very informational!

I love stretchy wraps for newborns. He looks so comfortable and snuggled up to mom!
