been BFing one month, will my breast size continue to change?

I've been breastfeeding for a month and am about two sizes bigger in my bra size than my pre-pregnancy size. Should I expect my breasts to remain this bigger size for the duration of my breastfeeding, or will they get gradually smaller?

I am wondering if I need to break down and just buy some bigger shirts... most of my pre-pregnancy clothes are fitted and I look like I'm bursting my buttons if I wear those, and I'm sick of wearing maternity clothes now that I'm not pregnant anymore.

I have no idea if this is true for everyone, but five months out I am still bursting the buttons on my shirts with my new DD cleavage. Personally I wouldn't mind if they decide to stay awhile...

Mine were huge and have now decreased in size since they only produce what my LO needs and not much more. I would wait maybe.

Mine are still about the same size as they were when I started BFing 7 months ago. I still have some fluctuation, though, especially in the morning before my little guy eats or if he goes longer w/o eating. I've had to get a few bigger shirts--I feel much better being comfortable and it makes nursing a bit easier.

Mine were huge for the first 6-8 weeks...they have steadily gone down a little though. I still had to buy some new shirts for fall....my pre-preggo ones looked a little risque with the nursing boobs! LOL.

Thanks for the input! I guess I'll just have to set aside some money from the next paycheck for a couple new things.

they will eventually. I find about 6 months or so and then again around 1.5-2 years (if you go that far). By that point I was pretty well back to my pre-pregnancy size both band and cup.

Re: been BFing one month, will my breast size continue to change?

I've been BFing 5 1/2 months -- I was also two cup sizes up until DS dropped his night feedings, which for me was at about 4 1/2 months. Right now I'm one cup size up and at the same band size. I still can't button my fitted dress shirts all the way without them looking like they're about to burst, so I usually wear them with a cami underneath and just leave the top buttons open -- I did buy new T-shirts, though, because my other ones rode up so much thanks to the nursing boobs that my belly was always showing. Needless to say, at a month postpartum that was just about the LAST part of my body I wanted hanging out...
