I wish I didn't! I work 4 days/week and send my bottled milk to day care for DS. When I am home, he nurses.

I am grateful to have the pump since it enables me to breastfeed even though I have to spend time away from my little guy.

none here either. I had a pump but I couldn't get anything out with it (but i can hand express very easily) so i gave it away. i am very blessed that I never have to leave my kids, so I don't have any bottles around. I wish DS2 would take a bottle though, I am getting burned out, never having a break.

Happy to know I'm not the only one... my dds received a couple dolls with bottles. The bottles are gone and the girls 'nurse' their babies!

I have a pump that the WIC office insisted I take home, but I have no bottles. And the pump is still sealed... I might use it when ds is older and can take a little expressed milk from a cup to give me a little break?

I have both. I work pt as a cafeteria cook at the high school, and dh gives ds one bottle a day during the week. I pump at night while I watch craig ferguson.
I hate pumping, but I am glad ds takes a bottle well so I can get away once in awhile. I am not what you would call ap.

I have a pump, and four glass bottles. All were hand me downs though. I have used the pump and a bottle once so far in 5 months, and only for DH's work Christmas dinner. With a whopping huge company of two bosses and 2 employees it was hard to 'sneak' out of their fancy dinner to go home and feed the baby. DH wishes I would pump so he can have that feed/bond time too.

Re: Am i the only one who doesn't have a pump or bottles in her house?

my aunt gave me her medela pump in style, never used it except the manual pump one morning when i was so engorged.

no bottles, i got some at my shower but gave them to a friend who was going to FF. my sister told me she stopped BF'ing her 2nd baby at 6 months rather than the year with her first because having bottles is a temptation to give formula, i listened and won't keep them in the house (even though i LOVE nursing and couldn't imagine being tempted by them)

Well I dont have a pump. It never worked for me. I do have some bottle incase when ds was born and breastfeeding didnt work. Also, I sometimes like to have a couple beers once in awhile, so he might have a bottle of formula. For the most part he is bf and now having a few solids.

Re: Am i the only one who doesn't have a pump or bottles in her house?

I only had a pump because I had REALLY bad engorgement and HAD to pump to relieve the pressure. It was so bad that I stopped at the store on the way home from the hospital to get one. I was to tears. I never did feed the pumped milk to DS, he's never had a bottle in his life (we weaned at 26 months). I had some freebie bottles in the house just because they came in the mail and were free. I tried to use one once to feed DS pedialite before a surgery (he wasn't allowed to nurse for 24 hours) and he REFUSED to touch it. I had to try to squirt the stuff in his mouth, which didn't go over real well. He was 100% breastfed from the tap. LOL
