Re: I cant put her down!

Try watching the videos from the happiest baby on the block and try the techniques. It is amazing and really works!

Re: I cant put her down!

My little one is the same way he was born 2 months early and is just about 4 months old now. We had a glider that I would try to put him in but he wouldn't ever last very long at all, I finally took it back and got a graco swing that will swing both ways and he loves it and will sit in it varying lengths of time without fussing. I'm typically the only one that can ever calm him so this swing helps a lot when I have to do things. We still haven't quite figured out the getting to sleep at night thing, he has to be swaddled but he knows when I put him down and usually wakes up

Re: I cant put her down!

I don't think it's necessarily a preemie thing but just a normal baby thing to where she just needs you more right now. It WILL pass... wearing her is perfect. Once my kiddos got out of the really new, newbie stage around 6-8 weeks they didn't usually nap unless in arms or being worn.

My one DD would literally sleep for 15 MINUTES all day at ONE MONTH old. I was exasperated & she was the reason I started baby wearing a new baby (my ODD wouldn't take to BW until she was 8 months old no matter the carrier) & made sure it was successful or else I knew I would get absolutely nothing done. Sometimes I could lay her down while sleeping then & sometimes she woke up & screamed with a vengeance so I had to decide if I was willing to risk that again if I laid her down. She did eventually outgrow it & get a bit happier at 6 months old. Which seems like forever when you are in the middle of it, but when I look back it wasn't as long as it felt it was.

It will pass...hang in there!! Keep up the great job!!
