So, my doula will be the same wonderful woman who doula'd my last Birth. The last birth she was still in training so didnt charge. Due to life circumstances, she will still be in training when I deliver this time. She is wonderful, and I'd love to give her some token of appreciation. Ideas?
She has a husband and 5 kids 17- age 2 if that helps

Id probably give her a $100-200. Depending on what a doula goes for in your area.

That would be a nice tip for her. Cheap for you (compared to full price). Shes doing the same job as a full price doula and you don't have to worry about finding a gift and wondering if its enough.

I agree if she is doula-ing for free, money would be good. If you want to make it more gift like you could do a amazon/amex etc gift card, something that you use to get almost anything.

A set of beautiful china wares, a gift card, a relaxed cardigan or a basket of fruits. Money would be another easy gift for the doula in training.

You could mail a check to her house, address it to another member of the family (DH?), and state that it's for taking her out for nice meal(s) as a family?
