insomnia

Had anyone else started to suffer from insomnia already?
I'm dead tired during the day. I can barely function, and if I lay down I'm out in seconds. But then bedtime comes and I lay down... Nothing! I toss and turn for hours! And of course 10 minutes after I finally doze off, the baby wakes up (the one outside me that screams a lot).
Last time I didn't have this issue until third trimester. No fair!

Oh, that's not fair at all! I don't have any problems, but I take a unisom every night to help ward off my morning sickness, so that probably has something to do with it! I hope it resolves quickly, or that your little one will just not wake you up!

Re: insomnia

DDC, but yes! Except mine happens earrrrly in the morning. I go to bed fairly early, around 9-10pm most nights. At 3-4am, I am awake. I still lay in bed, but I can't really go back to good sleep, and the alarm goes off at 6:50. If it gets past 5:30, I'm awake because I know the alarm is going off shortly. VERY frustrating!

This is how I choose to look at it! Thank you! I'll be 13 weeks on Sunday, so hopefully it ends soon!

I can get to sleep at night fine, but then I wake up and toss and turn for a couple hours somewhere around 2-3am. I hate laying there, not sleeping, while DH and DS3 are snoozing away!

Yep....up from 2ish until 430ish. With a toddler in a glow in the dark skeleton jammies on......glowing fiercely, inbetween me and dad. Not so bad, but I got thirsty, then heartburn:/
