No need to pull it back. The only one doing that should be your son, when it becomes naturally retractible on its' own. Pulling it back when it is not retractible is what will cause infection down there.

You're not horrible mama and your son is not going to lose his penis You've gotten great advice. No need to retract it at all, just wash/wipe like you would a finger. In time it will retract, but perhaps not until your son is 10/12 years old. If it needs a doc's attention you will know- it will be red and sore for days on end without getting better. I avoid docs at all costs when it comes to DS's penis because I find they are not well schooled in this area when it comes to the care of the intact penis.
