Oh, I know. I'm completely guilt-free about it now, but this has weighed on my mind for over a year, and it felt really good to just let it all out.

Maybe it will help someone who is struggling with FF'ing? Maybe it will encourage someone else to keep trying BF'ing? Maybe it will just show others how it's not always about the "easy way out"?

Either way, it's what was on my mind, and I just wanted to share it with my favorite group of people.

Wow your so right. Thanks for posting this. Mamas who can BF have no idea how it feels. We are all GREAT mamas and do our best for our children. This totally made me cry because I know it feels.

You are an amazing mom, no matter how Emma was fed. I feel this way every time I pull DD's bottle out. I feel like plastering a big ole sticker on every bottle thats says "Mama Milk" and wearing my story on my shirt.

Amen! I think I might have to send this to my friend who is having a doozy of a time with BFing her 3 week old. She is trying SO hard and my heart is breaking for her. I think it might help her to know that she is not alone in this battle.

Re: I did NOT sign up for this ...

You know, I don't think it is a one size fits all scenario. I think that it is irritating whem Mommies don't even try out the breast. I had a horrible first experience with BF... luckily it passed and I was able to nurse my other children, but only 10 months max. I am trying for a year with this one

I guess some resentment is when you see mothers in Walmart, with newborns in carseats and bottles propped...YUCK! I know that everyone is different, but that is just plain irresposible. And, it is irritating to see young moms on wick or state assistance, using formula...just because...it's free! (I am paying for it, actually as are you.)

It is like the Hollywood stars having c-sections because it just seems "too painful" to have a baby naturally...and it could "change" the apperance of the Vaginas...That is just stupid!

Those things bother me. I think that you gave it a try...which is AWESOME. I have known Mother's with no milk or non-fatty milk that their baby's fail to thrive. That is a horrible thing to go through! And, I would encourage you to try again with any future babies, because every baby is different... you might get a heaven-sent nurser next time

The earliest that my baby's weened was 4 months...the latest 10 months...so I get the bottle feeding thing...It is not a walk in the park! It is expensive and time-consuming!

Nice post
