Yes, this. I think we are all too shy. I'm not a mama of many, just a Catholic mama to be.

Re: Any Catholic mamas of many?

We don't have many, but we definitely are Catholic, so eventually we'll have many.
We're planning to start with the CHC pre-K curriculum in the fall with DS1, but we speak French at home so I'm still figuring out how to work that in. In the end though I decided faith trumped language. (DS1 has started speaking English too and has lots of Anglophone friends so it won't totally throw him off)
Tomorrow we're actually talking about French resources in our Catholic Homeschooling Mom Group. I'm super excited.

Ooo, could you pass on info? I'm hoping to raise the children trilingual. (Da speaks Spanish, I've lost my French).

CHC is the other curriculum I've been considering. I'd love to hear how you like it.

I would love a Facebook group, too.

We are Catholic and are homeschooling... But my children are still young. They are 4, 3, 23 months, and we have a baby girl that was stillborn in June bc of a cord accident, and a baby girl on the way (due in August). We use NFP and love it... We would like at least one more baby. I used to teach at a Catholic school and have most of my things from doing that. We belong to a Catholic homeschool group that meets once a week too (has over 100 kids in it!). I haven't chosen a curriculum yet, just been piecing together my own. I will once we get to first grade probably. . Love seeing other like minded mamas!!!

Re: Any Catholic mamas of many?

Hi, I'm Maureen and we've got three with 1 on the way. Dh and I teach NFP. Not sure if we will have more kids or not, due to multiple factors, but we've always wanted to adopt from S America or China.

If you are homeschooling, please please PLEASE read the book A Little Way of Homeschooling. It will blow your mind. Suzie Andres is amazing and her husband has a GREAT chapter in there about the philosophy of homeschooling (Dads usually like that chapter).

We have used several different resources, but I just love A Little Way of Homeschooling.
