Question What size Thirsties cover?

How do Thirsties covers run? My dd is around 24 lb but is pretty tall (translation skinny). Should I get a med or do you think she'll out grow it? (She's 18 mo.) What about for dappi pants or BSWW?

I would do a Large thristies. don't know about the other 2...

ETA: If your dd has an average rise, I would do a MED.

Re: What size Thirsties cover?

I got a large Thirstie for my 25 lb 17-month old. He's not very tall. But the thing is really too big. I only use it at night when his diapers are stuffed and even then it looks a little saggy because there is so much room. And we even use bulky prefolds.

I have a medium Thirstie and I like the fit much better on him. I'd go with a medium, but that's just me.

I'd go with a medium. I don't own a medium, but I do have a small. Dd is outgrowing her small Proraps and I can still cross over the tabs on the small Thirsties. She's almost 14 lbs with a 15" waist.

I would totally go with a medium if I were you. My dd is 25 pds and the large is so saggy looks pitiful!! Luckily I have some medium BSWW that fit perfectly!

I have a small Thirsties cover-my DD is almost 16lbs and it will fit for a while. The tabs touch but don't overlap. I have a medium BSWW that I can put on her, but it's very baggy. I use the crossover tabs for that. She's tall and thin, and in mediums for most of her other diapers. Covers seem to be more generously sized to me, but maybe that's just me.

Re: What size Thirsties cover?

I just got a large in the mail today, but I am thinking it maybe too big. Kaitlyn is about 25lbs. I went with the large because of her chunky thighs, but I am thinking I should have done the medium.

Re: What size Thirsties cover?

Thirsties are very generous sized covers. My little bit was still able to wear the XS till this week! And she probably could still wear them except for the infant premium prefolds we wear.

I would go with a medium. She is in smalls now and has PLENTY of room for a long while.

Re: What size Thirsties cover?

My daughter is almost 21 pounds and the medium cover is STILL too big. I can't imagine needing a large at just 3 pounds heavier.

You'd need a medium.

We have both Large and Medium and my chunky roughly 18lb dd drowns in the Larges unless there's a major nighttime dipe on her... but the Mediums fit perfect over pfs and fitteds.
