Re: Replacing windows

We hired ours out. No way do I think we could install a new window correctly. We are in an older home, so opted for full frame replacement instead of inserts. I hope we'll be happy with vinyl down the road.

Re: Replacing windows

We replaced windows in our house through Home Depot. We got a good deal on the windows though because my husband worked for the company that made the windows. Home Depot had people that came to take out the old ones, make some of the openings for the windows bigger, put in the new ones and hall away the old windows.

Re: Replacing windows

I guess it will be much better if you ask professionals to do it. There are many nuances which may emerge when the windows are not installed properly
