Re: Which bottle do you prefer (that is similar to the breast)?

We bought the tiny Dr. Browns, then discovered how it narrowed his latch, so we moved to the playtex dropins. They work well. We've been using the original 4, two 4 oz and 2 8 oz bottles for well over a year. He's still taking a slow flow nipple at 18 month when he gets a bottle (which is, I realize, another issue altogether for some people). We tried a fast flow one occasionally and he acts like the bottle has betrayed him.

The playtex bottles with the slow flow naturaLatch nipples are the best for us. My son "latches" to the bottle just like he does the breast.

I didn't vote because Laney is not really a fan of ANY bottle. We've tried breastflow, she won't take them. Nuk, she will take them sparingly... like if mama is gone a LONG time. Avent and playtex drop ins, she'll take these but again only if mama is gone a long time.

I have plenty of bottles and a kid that won't take them lol. Good thing I'm not away that much

Re: Which bottle do you prefer (that is similar to the breast)?

We used Born Free for the first month. Nursing was a bumpy start. Once she got the hang of it, she didn't get any bottles for 2 months, b/c it was easier to nurse than pump. Well, after 2 months I tried to give her some pumped milk and DD wanted nothing to do with the Born Free. I bought an Adiri and after a few attempts she began to use that. I like the simplicity of it, but be sure the vent system is totally dry or it's leak-city.
