Should I?

I am planning to buy a car seat today. So excited! But I am thinking if I should buy a back seat mirror too? My friend told me that if I will buy a car seat, I must buy a back seat mirror. Who among you here purchased both car seat and back seat mirror for their baby?

Re: Should I?

I had one given to me but I gave it away. The first couple months I remember wishing I had it but really I probably would've gotten in an accident staring at her ... If im worried while driving I just unbuckle and peek around at a stop👍

I've never used a mirror in the car.

I've never used one, but I could see that it might be nice to have. My concerns would be about how securely it attaches to the car. In an accident it could become a projectile.

Re: Should I?

There are hard mirrors and soft mirrors.
Hard mirrors could seriously injure baby or another person in an accident.
Neither mirror ever seems to get in just the right position.
Mirrors add a driving distraction. You are statistically safer not having one, defensive driving.

Re: Should I?

I did but they are a distraction and no matter which I kind I bought they all got scratched very easily and quickly. I had twins and both my husband and I have car seats in out cars because he drops off and I pick them up from daycare. They are a plain and simple waste of money!

Re: Should I?

We were given two (one for each car) as a gift, still have yet to install and see if we like them.

Re: Should I?

I have one, but I can't seem to get it in the right position. Thank goodness it connects to the latch system and doesn't flop around.

I had one and gave it away because it distracted me in the car. It's hard to drive when you're staring at the backseat lol!
