I make mine thicker and use an ice cream or spring loaded cookie scooper to scoop portions out onto a cookie sheet. I put the whole sheet in the freezer then dump the frozen balls into a zip lock.

I used the silicone brownie tray. They pop right out and then the squares went into bags or other containers.
Any silicone type tray would work, I just chose that one because it had long term uses after baby food.

We have silicon holders from the baby bullet and also use the 4oz jars.

You could do something similar or the ice cube thing, then dump them into a large mason jar.
