Oh yeah! I definitely think the angle adjuster would help a lot. There are no dedicated RF tether anchors. You have to use that strap you mentioned, so you're not missing anything .

I ordered the angle adjuster. I adjusted the angle sightly so it's 45*

The angle of the other photo is different than this one below which is straight on. But this should be right now. And when or angle adjuster comes in the mail we'll have even more room. :-)

We have the older version of this seat & that's pretty much how it looks sitting in our van.

Did you check your manual? If you have advanced air bags the seat cannot touch.

I did read the van manual. It says they can touch as long as it doesn't interfere with the passenger seat being able to "click" into its locked position. So we're good there.
