Thumbs down Yummy, listeria!

So I was on the way to the store with little man after school pickup when the grocery store called to tell me that the veggie lasagna my husband got me a few weeks ago is being recalled. Too bad I ate it as soon as he brought it home because I was starving. Needless to say I am now paranoid that that's why I haven't felt the baby move now but just in case you're curious is you've eaten any of the potentially contaminated foods the article from Live Science with the product list is here.

If you didn't get sick with listeriosis, it didn't hurt the baby. Listeria doesn't secretly and symptom-less-ly cause miscarriage/stillbirth.

Re: Yummy, listeria!

Several of the signs, apart from fever, are basically how my body rolls through pregnancy as it is but I know that even the rate of getting it while pregnant is low even though that's higher than the average population. It would be nice if I didn't have to worry about having eaten contaminated food though, so gross to think about.

Oh mama...I'm sure you're fine, but I'm sorry for your worries! Pregnancy is rough anyways, and can be downright terrifying after losses. If you're not feeling the baby move much, a sono may be in order for reassurance if nothing else. Hugs! Hang in there
