Re: August 2016 March Chat

It is nice to be around mommies who aren't involved heavily in cliques.

I am still dealing with HG though it has lessened. I can eat and drink and keep the nausea at bay with ice water and fudgesicles.

Had my 1st OB appt with a natural OB. She said the only thing she can really do for the HG (as meds don't work on me) is trust that I will go to the ER if I have not had any liquids for 24 hours and admit me if necessary. As for my nerve pain, we can hope my Neurontin will take care of it and if need be we will add opiods but that is something we both don't want. TX has a strict "no baby can be born with drugs in their system no matter what" and CPS will take the baby. But that is if they test you and the baby. She said she will let me be her guide as I have done this before and know what works for me. Other than that she said that while I am a high risk pregnancy I am not a high risk delivery and she figures I will pop the baby right out.

Team green until delivery. Though I do think it is a girl. The nickname we have given her is "Ms. EVA bean". My first U/S of the baby look like a jelly bean in one and EVA from WALL-E in another so we combined them.

Dagny- glad your improving a little. Hope you keep getting better as time passes. Nerve pain sucks. My mom had neuropathy (sp?). So painful!

Dagny- sorry you are feeling bad still. Morning sickness is a huge reason why I am calling it quits after this babe! And nerve pain on top of it, I am sure the dehydration from MS isn't helping with that.

I experienced a first last night, who knew that your baby could wake you at 17 wks gestation! He was very obviously stretching while turning over, and it truly hurt! Enough to wake me from my sleep!
I told my oldest, if this is a sign of things to come, I expect we'll see feet and hands, elbows and maybe even little baby bum sticking out frequently!

Good luck with your ultrasound Robin.
I can't believe that I'm 17 weeks already! I have my appt with MFM next week and regular obgyn the following week.

Re: August 2016 March Chat

So, turns out I have irritable uterus again. I've been advised to double my water intake and take around 400mg of magnesium per day and inform my boss that I may need to leave much earlier than expected.
I had two hours of contractions 5-7 min apart on Sunday :/ Water and mag seem to be helping, I've only had random bh since that night.

I'm sorry to hear about your issues.

I feel horrible. I am not really nauseated but I feel like puking. I hate this.

Re: August 2016 March Chat

Dagny- do you always have this while pregnant? Does it ever let up or do you have it the entire 9 months?

My ultra sound isn't until the 21st, ill never make it, lol.
