Well, finally got the garden mostly planted. The rest will have to wait until next week. Now I am going to go watch more British tv on YouTube (Escape to the Country, should anyone care), eat some ice cream, and eventually take a bath before crawling into bed. Tomorrow morning Aiden and I head off to camp, so you might not hear much from me this week. If you would, please pray for our campers. Many of these kids come from rough homes and they don't get loved on much other than this one week of camp.
Have lots of fun and praying for everyone involved

I hope it wasn't as bad as you expected.

Was it because you initially planned to birth at the birth center? Ive only had our kids at the hospital so we filled out the paperwork and the hospital sent it in. We then can go online and pay to have the official birth certificate mailed.

Hmm the lady at the hospital did everything for the social security but told us to go to the health department for the birth certificate. I probably could've done it online but I didn't even think about it.

Luckily it was like all of a sudden everyone came back from their lunch break or something and things started moving relatively quickly. It was a long wait but not as long as I thought it would be. Yippee!

That's how they did it in the last place I lived. I think the hospital even filled out the forms I needed, but I still had to physically take them to the office.

Ugh, time to vent. I think I got duped (somewhat): I got a call in response to a contest I entered back in June at a local event, saying that I had won one of the smaller prizes, a discounted vacation to Branson, MO. Anywho, the package was for 2-3 nights in Branson, 2 free show tickets, $30 food voucher, plus a separate 2 night stay at a Radisson Hotel of our choosing. Anyway, this was all for $130 and it sounded like a good deal. Well I googled it later and it's just a way to suck people in to tour their timeshare and try to get you to buy into it. They mentioned a "90 minute tour" of their resort, which didn't seem so bad, but according to online reviews they will keep you for up to 5 hours if you don't buy into it after the first 90 minutes. So now I'm debating trying to get a refund or just disputing it with my credit card without bothering to see if it pans out. The sales lady was super pushy and I should have listened to my gut.

Then about 5 minutes later I get a call from the specialist OB clinic about my last ultrasound. Apparently baby girl's heart is slightly enlarged (though otherwise no issues) and they want me to see a pediatric cardiologist and have weekly ultrasounds... I can go for the cardiologist, but the weekly ultrasounds I cannot afford and it seems like the OB is going overboard. Thankfully we've almost hit our deductible, but we'll still have to pay 20% of services after that, so it won't be free. Unfortunately my phone died after that so I couldn't talk to her more about the ultrasounds, and when I called back after running errands they were no longer in the office.

I think I need to stop answering my phone.

That is a bummer on the Timeshare thing. They can't keep you against your will, I wouldn't think? (The 5 hour thing.)

If Baby Girl's heart is only slightly enlarged, I agree weekly ultrasounds sounds a bit aggressive.
