Late late starter

After talking with a mom at church we have ventured into cloth diapering. Been going about a week now and just stumbled across this category. This sounds like a much better option than laundry every single night (still building up our stash). Is it too late to start with my 23 month old? He has showed interest in the potty so we have been letting him sit whenever he wants but haven't actually started "training". My first DS didn't accept potty training until he was almost 4 but I don't really care for a repeat with a new baby on the way in 7 weeks. What advice or tips do you have for starting so late? I don't want to force it on him with a new baby coming and all the changes that will bring too but am very interested in doing this for him.

I would start with having him try after nap or right upon waking. See how that goes and work fro there.
Here to help if I can.
