My Mood:
Should I be worried that my son's not mastered rolling over yet?

He'll be 6 months on April 4. He can sometimes roll from his tummy to his back, and for a while did it a lot, but lately it almost seems like he's forgotten how to do it. And he hasn't yet figured out how to roll from his back to his tummy. I just read that babies should be able to roll over by the end of month 5, but what exactly does that mean? Does that mean they have mastered it by then?

DS is at or beyond all of the other milestones, he just can't seem to get into rolling. He can stand while holding on to something, he is really starting to figure out how to tripod sit, and everything else is great, but I'm worried about the rolling over. He's not a heavy kid. He's 17 lbs and 27 inches, and his arms are TINY. His legs are where all is strength is, really.

Should I be worried? What can I do to help him out here?
Knitting , career-having , Momma to Eli 10/4/07 and Stella, due 11/4/10.
