Trifold stitch on pre fold coming out after prepping?

I just prepped some new pre folds, and while folding them, I noticed that on one of them, the stitching for the Trifold part on one side had come out 1/3 of the way down the pre fold.

1st, is this likely to cause any problems?

2nd, would you contact the company about it? The pre fold was not purchased as a second....

It wouldn't hurt to contact the company, especially since it just happened during prepping.

Re: Trifold stitch on pre fold coming out after prepping?

I would contact them because what will happen is the extra layer in there is now loose and will start to fold on itself and make a very uncomfortable ridge right in the crotch part of the diaper when you have it on the baby. Not as big of a deal if you just want to use the prefolds to stuff pockets, but otherwise could be uncomfortable.

This happened to two bamboo prefolds of mine and the loose edge is rolling up on itself and it is gradually worsening, although they don't fit my son in the rise to be actually pinned or snappied on him anyway (only use to stuff pockets).
