Wash night is tonight. And I need DH to help me with the picture stuff. It'd be Wednesday night at the earliest before I can post. But I love seeing everyone else's work!

Here is mine along with two prefolds that I dyed using RIT.

The color faded a bit, but I still like it. I'm not sure I'll use RIT on the prefolds again because they ran a little bit dispite lots of washes by themselves, but the bG seemed to hold the color fine.

Here's the one I did with Orange flavored Koolaid by the stovetop method.

Brought a pot of water to a near boil - threw in 3 packs of orange koolaid and 1 cup vinegar. Turned heat down to med-low. Threw BG in and stirred ocassionally (used wooden spoons to hold it under when not stirring). Tokk it out after 25 minutes and rinsed in cool water. Washed as usual and viola.

I have dyed others too, but don't have picts of them yet. I'll try to get some but DS just went to bed for the night and he lives in the diaper room. Or they live in his room, er ummm hem.

Another question,...

You totally submerge the diaper in the water, correct?

Its difficult to tell from some of these pictures, but it looks like the insides of some are still white. Im wondering if maybe I am supposed to only get the color on the outside and how I would do that.

You submerge the whole diaper, the insides don't take the color and wash out in your rinse. HTH!

Wow, how awesome! I'm excited to try this tonight and see what I come up with.

Kira~ Is there any certain way you got that tye-dye appearance? I know you said rubber bands, but did you do anything else special to it? I love tye-dye, but I've never done it before and I'm afraid I'm going to make a terrible mess when I attempt it (lol).
