That's us- simple baked is our favorite.

They really do love the bread. I've been hunting for a whole wheat bread they would gobble up as fast as ny white bread recipes. Thanks for sharing. I checked the book out of the library and am going to experiment some more.

Any suggestions? I think our families have similar palettes.

I am impressed that your library has that book! The whole wheat muffin recipe is another favorite. The best muffins-made-with-honey recipe I've ever tried. I'll have to look and see if there are others, I can't think of any off the top of my head.

I had to request it but there were several copies available.

I'll try the muffins.

Re: Is it too early to talk Thanksgiving?

I adjusted my family's traditional sweet potato casserole recipe. And by adjusted I actually mean.... I threw out the white sugar completely and didn't add eggs. I also mixed it up with coconut milk. Kept a simplified version of the topping.

Everyone has raved about it every year since.

We always have both and usually a pork loin as well. I have gone back and forth as to which is my favorite over the years. If the turkey is good and juicy, I prefer turkey. And always turkey sandwich meat. If the turkey is dry, I prefer ham.

I like having a ham and turkey but never make ham. My dh sodium would be completely be derailed if there was a cooked ham around. He'd love a pork loin.

My kids have a full day of school today. That was not in my plan at all. It's going to be a long busy day. I'm tired thinking about it.

We always have ham and turkey. I love both. If I had to choose though I'd probably choose ham.
