I am a "rule" breaker... if it works for me
except my cat uses the outdoors so theres not a littlerbox to change, an even if there was, I would skip it just because I had an "excuse" to. yuck
I also hate sushi
oh and no alcohol, I don't drink anyway, hate the taste (maybe 1 alcoholic beverage once a year, MAYBE), but especially not preggo.
everything else, I do the same..
hot baths can't live without them,
I drink caffeine coffee, soda, tea etc (thats not all I drink, but I don't say "no I can't have that" if I would like to have a drink that has caffeine in it.)
I eat lunch meat whenever I don't heat it up, hotdogs, I eat them, I don't like them cold though.
I paint (latex)
I dye/bleach my hair
I'm a rebel

I drink coffee. A couple cups a day. Wouldn't know how to survive without it, being pregnant with #3 under 3!
I eat sushi. I crave sushi!
I (moderately) drink beer.
I eat basically just like I did pre pregnancy. Actually I can't think of anything I've changed except eating a little healthier.
So I guess I do break the rules.

No, no, no, no! Sorry, but no! I'm a NICU nurse and now I know WHY you don't want to take ibuprofen during pregnancy. Ibuprofen can actually close off the fetal circulation, leaving your baby without a way to circulate blood (aka get oxygen)! My OB told me, knowing I'm a NICU nurse and knowing I know what I know, that I could take it up to 30 weeks (I have really bad migraines) BUT even knowing that, I wouldn't take it unless I was in so much pain my next step was the emergency department and I probably wouldn't take it after 20 weeks no matter what.

Ibuprofen is used to treat patent ductus arteriosis in preemies and babies whose "holes in the heart" do not close after birth.

I do have to add that I am only relaying what my doc told me and not recommending any pregnant woman take it at any time. If it becomes necessary, its something you should have a conversation with your OB/midwife about.
