Baby Names for Jan. 2016

So, since the post that recently got bumped to the top was from a year or two ago, I thought we could start a fresh one.

I have a 21 month old named William (Will) Paul. He was named after both my grandfathers, and his middle name is also my husband's middle, as well as my father-in-law's middle name.
If this baby is a girl, we are planning on naming her Tessa Victoria (which would be in honor of my mother, Theresa, who goes by Terry, and my Mother-in-law, Victoria, who goes by Vicky.)
For a boy, we're thinking either David Ross or Micah Asher. I'm leaning towards Micah this time, because I'm nervous that people might want to call a David "Dave", since my first son has a one-syllable nickname. Micah isn't typically shortened, so I'm hoping that people might be less inclined to shorten David if I have a Micah first (since that's the same length/number of syllables as David. . .).

Ddc....I love your sons name. My oldest was named after both of his grandpa's. Steven is my fil's middle name and William is my dad's middle name (along with my grandpa's first name)

As far as people shortening names...if there's a will there's a way...some may shorten Micah to Mike I would just be straight with them and say we are not shortening it. That's what we did with Steven when he was a baby.

We have not talked names yet this time... but they will go with the others.

Our girls are named after places and boys names are in the English, Irish, Celtic family.
