I had no idea I was pregnant with twins until they told me. I was pretty shocked (and I had two kids, so I knew what a singleton pregnancy felt like).

FWIW, my singleton pregnancies and births were easy, but my twin birth was rough, and my 40-week twins needed immediate medical attention even after a vaginal birth.

That is very good to know! Thankfully we have a couple really good hospitals that are near to us, so if I need a transfer, they are a short drive away
