For some reason most of what I have for her are dresses and skirts, so I need to find some long sleeved under shirts, and leggings.
Yup, that why dresses are awesome! You can even pic up some solid colored lounge pants that Carters sells to match the shirt sets and they would look great under dresses long sleeve solids to mix and match too. She's got tons of yarn so longies and sold tops would be perfect and you could girly them up with pinafores or pillow case dresses you can make yourself to coordinate

On a lighthearted note...

Who wants to take bets on how many lbs I lose by not drinking anything for 7 days? Starting at 160, 5'4"

I mean alcohol

We typically have 1-2 per night and we're out. Plus I don't tend to drink much when Nick is travelling.

Benj stopped drinking pop ... been 4 weeks now. and he's lost about 5lbs or so. He use to drink 3 cans a day, and then his feet started tingling and he freaked!

I am not saying go away! I was helping Karen with pattern math so I didnt plan on saying that and then popping out.

My point was this: when you look at lots of patterns it's taking time away from your knitting. You have admitted that you get bored with lots of knitting an that's why your in threes is taking so long. I promise you that an adult size sweater is 2749483719593727 times more boring because it is a lot of stitches. No matter how exciting a pattern is it gets old after the 27494727th pattern repeat. Even knitting about 6-8 hours a day it took me 22 solid days to knit my sweater and it was only 1100 yards (of sport, on 5s). It took me almost all day to get 2 inches done. That takes dedication and gets so boring. Sooo boring. So practice with your hats, get used to knitting. Get used to increases and decreases, finishing and icords. These will make you ready for a sweater and make you feel better because rarely does knitting make people feel good. Finishing makes people feel good. Get good at finishing so you build your confidence. If you spend too much time on ravelry you will have lots of I wants and never I dids. You need to get some I dids under your belt so you can stop calling yourself a new knitter.
