Re: WANTED: Bedtime Help!

Thanks yall!

The hardest part so far is in the middle of the night when he rolls over or whatever he used to reach for his pacifier and now its no longer available. So his night wakings have been a bit dramatic but we are working on it.

Re: WANTED: Bedtime Help!

My neighbor just stared at me in disbelief when I told her we plan to have the boys share a room when the baby is ready to move out of our room in 9 mos or so. I'm glad to read this thread, because I've been having similar fears. We already have problems getting DS to sleep and I'm not convinced it will go well with 2 in there! Good luck, K!

Same (we had 5 in a room at one point). Our kids have always shared a room, ever since we had our 2nd. They learn to sleep through each other's noises. It works out.

Its a bit intimidating at first but we went like 6mos or so without any issue and that issue lasted a couple weeks and now they are back to being fine. Is their vent and light switch duct taped? Yes, but thats more for my sanity. Lol.

What do you mean their vent and light switch are duct taped?

They have a floor vent in their room and they both take it out constantly so I finally duct taped it down (not over the actual vent). It was the only way I could figure out to baby proof it.

Their light switch I put duct tape over so DS2 cant protest bedtime and disturb his brother by getting out of bed and turning the light on and off a billion times. Let me add this was advice given by his speech therapist.
