Nursing positions for a long baby

Ok, so this might be a dumb question but, what nursing positions have you used as your LOs got bigger? My DD is 6.5 mo and already 28.5 inches long. I'm only 5'4"... first thing in the morning ... on a good day :-) At home we lay down to nurse, which works great. Out and about, if I try to hold her in a cradle hold, my arms just aren't long enough to support her. If she sits on my lap, she's lined up with my shoulder, not my breast. Either way she ends up scrunched and uncomfortable, so she fidgets and only nurses for a minute or two at best. Help!
