Re: Looking to become a WAHM...what do YOU want?

I saw a lady who had this cream colored shawl type thing. Basically she stuck her head through it like a regular shawl or cape, idk what it would be called exactly, but it was very light, simple with no baby patterns, and if she wasn't nursing you would have thought it was for every day use. It covered everything including her tummy area. I looked high and low for one of those and couldn't find anything like it. I'm determined to get one before we have another lil one. You should make those.

The hardest thing for me to find was a pumping bra. The only ones I found were online and $30 plus for a sports bra style (way too much for me). I ended up cutting slits in cheap ones and they worked. But maybe a sports style nursing and/or hands free pumping bra could really help some Mamas.

I also really want to see things that help hide your mid section. I know some moms don't care about lifting up the shirt or whatever, but I feel a lil insecure about letting it all hang out. A lady once told me to take an old super thin undershirt/tank top and cut a square out of the chest area, which would allow your nursing bra to open without lifting up the undershirt exposing your mid section. That's fine in the winter but what about in the summer. Any good ideas for that one?

When I was pumping, I thought this would be a great product -- but then I realized that my nipples are at different heights... I had to cut the slits at different places, and it would have been impossible to make something "standard" that way. I wonder if everyone has this issue? (Not meaning to hijack the thread! )
