I always thought it was my husband's fault. LOL

But for some reason I ovulate late.. and all of my boys were conceived after I had ovulated, like where you think your window is over and you're in the clear.. yeah, not so much for me. When we are able to try for another we will only have DTD before my expected ovulation and nothing after! We'll see if that works. -- for a girl.

Re: Gender swaying?

lol this thread is entertaining! Y'all have some great stories But a previous poster is correct the X chromosome Sperm are not only hardier but also molecularlly heavier and slower moving, but the Y chromosome sperm are faster, lighter yet more fragile. Point being, the time in which ovulation and insemination occur probably do play a major role!

And just anecdotally I have noticed that the more horn ball the couple the more girls they have! Makes me think they get down to business as soon her red tide recedes (or not! Just party right thru!)... And end up with a pile of lady babies!

Re: Gender swaying?

I actually just commented about this in another thread about someone trying for a boy.
I've heard that female sperm are larger and stronger but slower, and male sperm are smaller and faster but weaker. So the idea is to plan sex around your cervical fluid as you can get different textures, creamy, sticky, eggwhitey. Eggwhitey is easiest for boys as the sperm can handle that. Girls can take on the creamy a little better and might have a better fighting chance.
Cool idea to keep in mind if nothing else.
