Hey a con i have found with hemp.. terry in particular. is that it not only holds on to the smell. over time it has a reaction with the urine making the acidity burn babies skin. we were using organic hemp terry as inserts with no fleece liner. and now that they smell horrible at each pee, they also now burn the baby. we only use baking soda and vinegar for washing. and sun dry for staining.. maybe this has something to do with the washing process or something else we are doing, but it doesn't happen with the new ones that don't have the smell build up. idk.. if someone has some ideas on how to make this better i'm listening.

Try boiling them if there is no elastic, snaps ect with a bit of plain dawn. After that a couple of good hot washes with no detergent/soap.
