Belly moisturizer

Do you ladies have any suggestions for a good natural belly moisturizer? Is there anything that is bad to use? I know that nothing will prevent stretch marks but I am just looking for comfort. I used coconut oil when I was pregnant with DS but I rarely remember to "melt" it before getting in the shower. I have been using jojoba oil the past couple days but wondered if it was safe? It seems to work well but I don't know a ton about EO. I thought jojoba was pretty innocuous though. I also have grapeseed oil if it is better. Thoughts?

Ya you don't really need to melt coconut oil since it will melt at body temperature. I used that and cocoa butter body butter, which was also really nice.

I use the now brand almond oil. Or you could throw on some olive oil. Some don't like the smell though.

Re: Belly moisturizer

I just recently started using avocado oil. I use it for my face already, and noticed it says right on the bottle that it helps with skin elasticity, so I've been using it on my belly, too. Before that I was using a homemade whipped body butter, but it was really greasy and took forever to sink in, and the moisture just sitting on top of my skin actually made it itchier. The avocado oil just sinks right in.

You know, I pinned something recently about whipping coconut oil until it's fluffy (like with a hand or stand mixer), and supposedly it should stay softer.

Found the link: http://www.livingthenourishedlife.co...conut-oil-body

It's on my list of things to try!

I'll try it. The brand I currently have has a fairly narrow top so I can't get it out without melting it. I could melt it completely and pour it into another container too. I may do that and whip it and see if it is easier to use (it should be since I could get to it that way).
