I did something similar, luckily I had a white tshirt on, but you could still see everything.

Re: You know you are sleep deprived when. . .

I'm so sleep deprived I can't remember the sleep deprived stories! But there have been a few! And yes I have forgotten how to breastfeed in the middle of the night before, I grab dd, whip the boob out and everything, and well, hold her as I doze off and I can't figure out why she's fussing/crying...oh wait, you're hungry! Wait what do I do again?? Oh yeah...

1.5 weeks ago I went to get the Mirena put in. I got it put in, the Dr. left the room...I proceeded to put my undies, coat on and my sneakers (tied them and all), started walking towards the door, only to realize my jeans were still sitting on the chair! oh thank you God that I didn't walk out like that!!!

I laughed so hard I am crying!

Sleep deprivation for me is when I walk into the bathroom to pee and forgot why I went in there.

When I forget what day it is (every day!).

When you wake up at 4am wondering why you are still awake and hadn't gone to sleep yet. Pretty bad when you can't remember sleeping.

You know you're sleep deprived when you lick "Dijon mustard" off your finger only to remember you haven't eaten Dijon in days....

Yep, newborn poo!

...when you finally make it out to the store (target) and wander away from your own shopping cart, begin pushing someone else's, eventually discover your mistake, and have to go back through the store to find your purse because you left it... somewhere.

at least the baby was in the ergo

i feel ya honey.

The other day I was on my way to work. I dropped of DS at his sitter, and was dropping DD off at pre-school when i realized CRAP! I didn't feed her any breakfast and i didn't pack her any breakfast either. I look at one of the teachers and start to tell her what happened, i'm asking if they've got anything they can feed her, a granola bar or some cereal... ANYTHING... Then I'm just crying. I can't help it, I'm crying because i feel like a totally helpless moron.

DD "why you cryin' mama?"
Me "because i forgot your breakfast and i'm tired and i just feel very very stupid right now"
DD (hugging my knees) "you're not stupid mama, i'm not really hungry anyhow"

If i had a dollar for every time I realized that i'd been walking around with one side of my bra open for an hour or more before noticing... i'd be a rich rich woman.
