Re: KAL ~ Think Christmas (or other winter holiday)~ Nov 25-Dec 1

I think my big thing is deciding if I should ply at all. Do I want n-ply if so, to keep it from being too mottled? Single ply would felt better though I would think?

I have a braid of my fall colorway that I slightly overprocessed. I don't think anyone wants a fall colorway right now anyways, but it would look lovely hanging on my beautiful walnut wheel

I think you have a good plan. Go with it. I wouldn't ply at all.

I love easy! This is where I wish I had a maja, so I could just spin singles, steam the bobbin, and knit right from the bobbin

Morning all. I can't be the first one up so I'll just assume you all are neglecting to say hi

I'felted stuff before, and as long as it is wool I didn't have much issue. Once I used some scratchy 2 ply stuff to make a shoe and it worked great other times I used softer stuff. I would think 1 ply would work best fir coloring.

We have breakfast with Santa today. Skeptical #1 may be in his last year of believing so I'm hoping he enjoys it. My brothers kids have started talking there is no Santa so I'm sure they'll ruin it for him.

Excuse my ignorance, but how can you do that with a maja and not any wheel?
