Ooohhh pretty!!!

And I quoted both the deer picture and the gopher (?) pictures and neither one showed up!! I miss living away from the city...even though we have moose walking through here all the time, I sure miss watching the other wildlife...I am reading the Little House on the Prairie series to Elliana at night and it just gets to me, that's how I grew up and wish I could move back to a nice wooded acreage, where the sounds you hear arent traffic, neighbors, oh anything worse than that, and just the trees, the animals and whatever noise you are making is your own....

My picture was a groundhog/woodchuck. The first time I saw him (or maybe a friend/relative of his, LOL) I glanced out on the deck early in the morning and thought, "Holy crap, is that a beaver on the deck? Wait, that beaver doesn't have a tail! What happened to that beaver's tail and why is he in my yard?" FINALLY it dawned on me that it must be a groundhog. He lives under our deck. Actually there may be several of them there...we saw babies in the yard one time.

Oh and I have started stripping my wool at each washing b/c my little guy just seems to get SO dirty and it seemed like the wool wash was just locking it in after a couple washes. So now I wash in dawn and then I rewash with wool wash to relanolize. And if they need it I will lanolize with the lanolin oil in the sink.

Those are cute! Of course it wouldn't look like much after a couple washes, but it is adorable!

Oh and Sleeping Angels does smell nice. Katie has a description on her FO page...

"Sleeping Angels FO -fresh, flowery and green with notes of Rose, Muget, and Musk. Delicate and floral"

Ive recently started stripping every time too. Phe's been crazy dirty lately lol! But I wash her stuff in the washer and then soak it in wool wash. I think the lanolin was building up on it and then the dirt was "sticking"

Ok I have a quick question. What is your favorite cuff for boys longies. I have tried seed stitch, bamboo, rolled, and hemmed.
Here is what I am working on, also would you switch back to black for the cuff?

Sorry for the crappy pic. I took it in my van on my lunch hour from my phone!
I like those! I would do black cuffs. As for different stitches, I did some googling the other day for different stitch ideas and I tried a rice stitch on the pair I just finished, no pics yet, they are blocking.

I just cast on for these Barn Owl longies but haven't gotten very far yet since DS2 didn't nap very well.
