I'm glad I found this post, my ds is 9 months and ebf. 5 months ago if you asked me if i was planning on nursing past a year i would have said no way! But lately I can't imagine giving up the bedtime nurse and snuggles in a couple months. That being said I will probably continue past a year, although i feel like there is still such a stigma about nursing past a year but this post helped encourage me

My son loves to nurse while we read books. It's a great way to bond and learn at the same time!

Thanks so much for posting this. I had a really hard time breastfeeding during the first 3 months (blisters, plugged ducts, mastitis). Now my son is 4 months old and it's information like this that keeps me going
