To anyone else thinking of trying this... the idea I came up with too late is to just bring home a new yummy thing to drink for everyone, then once we find one she likes say she is switching to it. Sigh
Which did she end up liking?

Re: Cow milk alternatives, Help

We ended up on Flax Milk. I still don't think she LOVES it but she has taken to it. Since we do chocolate milk once a weekend I get single serve almond chocolate milk boxes for that - it's what available at the store.

So after a couple of weeks of being off cows milk just at home and just for drinking (meaning she still drinks a small amt at daycare and we don't change cooking / premade products) her eczema did disappear after several months of persisting. But I still had the thought in the back of my head that it was coincidence.

We were going to my mother's house for 2 nights, so I decided to "forget" the flax milk and have her drink gma's cows milk for the weekend. Well after we got home, by Monday she had a flare up in all of her limb creases. So pretty confident that it's helping. She has been back on flax milk for about 2 weeks and has cleared up. It is nice that it doesn't have to be complete though, hopefully we don't have to make daycare more complicated or if she gets a cup on it out of the house it will probably be okay. She did have 2 chococlate cows milks last week while on vacation and haven't got a flare up yet at least.
