DD used grovia newborns for about 7 weeks. She started off at 5 lbs 11 oz and we started cd'ing her at 2 weeks old. But grew out if them plus we needed more absorbent. We also use GMD workhorses w/ a cover which are great holding ebf poop.

My favorite newborn diapers are Tots Bots Tini Fits. So far. I have different things to try with the next baby whenever he/she comes.

But as others said if you're starting at 6 weeks, unless the baby is super small then just go ahead & use smalls or OS. For a bigger newbie my favorites were Bottombumpers AIOs, size small. I only have 5 for the next baby but plan to get a few more.
