Magic-Alls -- new vs. old

Is there anyone here who's in a position to compare the old Wonderworks Magic-Alls with the new ones from Baby BeeHinds? I'm looking for a reliable AIO with a microfiber soaker and a PUL outer, but I feel like the old Magic-Alls aren't really absorbent enough.

Is there a rundown of differences anywhere?

Thanks!

I'm hoping this just got lost in the shuffle when DS was down earlier, and that someone knows...

Sorry I don't have magicalls, but I really like the BBH aIos we have. They do have to be hung on the side of the crib to finish drying after all the other dipes are done (mostly pfs), but they are great to take outta the house.

I should have been more clear -- I already have BG 2.0 AIO's, and am looking for other diapers of the same type.

I think the Swaddlebees look interesting, but seem a bit pricey. I might give one a try, though.

Did you try the new Magic-Alls, or the old ones?

Re: Magic-Alls -- new vs. old

as I'm curious re difference between the old and new, too. I have one BBH version and I like it but don't love it because of all that frilly edge -- seems unnecessary extra fabric for an AIO. The absorbency has been pretty good, as DS2 has worn it for several (3+) hours on two occasions (cuz daddy forgot to change) and no leakage. When I first got it I was a bit skeptical about how well it would do on the absorbency front because the soaker pad looks kind of small (relative to the diaper) as there is roughly an inch (or more) space (where no there is no absorbent fabric) between the soaker pad and the edge of the diaper on all sides. But it has worked fine. Takes awhile to dry just like other AIOs.

Don't have a new one but we LOVED the old ones! Magicalls always get blasted about their poor quality and the fact that they don't hold much but they held up very well for us on my super soaker. I loved how trim they were.
