Well it would depend on why you went early... and why you had to have the c/s. Maybe w/ a little more info we could help
After 2 c/s I am having a HB so I know all about not having the birth you want.

Her placenta was ripping away.
Never in ANY way went into labor - never even a braxton.

Any doctor that actually delivers you would want to have records from your previous delivery doc to make sure that you have a low transverse incision on your uterus. If they don't have that documentation, I don't know any doc who would risk trying to deliver vaginally when there is a possibility that your uterus has a vertical scar.

There are certainly lots of OBs out there that will do VBACs. But I also agree with everyone in saying that it really would depend on the reason why you had the C/S in the first place last time.

I had my first DD by c-section. She was born at 31 weeks and weighed only 2lbs 12oz. I am now just about 38 weeks with my second and am just waiting to go into labor so I can have my VBAC. It can definitely be done! Good luck mama, I hope you get your VBAC!

So placenta abruption? I would say the concern more than anything has to do w/ the fact that you are going to be considered high risk and are at a greater risk for placenta abruption again. You have had two m/c's is that correct? That is high risk. As the point of a VBAC I think uterine rupture is less of a concern than the rest of your history, KWIM?
Have you visited this site? http://ican-online.org/

Let me see what else I can find. I have been doing a ton of research. Also I would request a copy of your operation report- they have to give it to you. You need to read through it and like pp said make sure you have a lower transverse incision.

Why did they do an emergency c/s?

Ok so you've found a proVBAC dr. that is a good start. But, realize that even sometime proVBAC dr. won't take you I ran into this a lot. Have you done any reading up? Let us know how it goes! I that you a least get the chance. Hopefully someone will share an inspirational story

Oh I already found out how that is!
My 1st doc told me they will let me know at 32 weeks - I saw him early & they told me "NO - U have to wait 2+ years"
So I found a Pro Vbac doc after 1st appt they dropped me. Grr!
So now I am looking at a new one a hour away - my 1st vist is this month! I pray they take me!!!

Re: Had a preemie by c-section then on to have a VBAC?

I had a preemie c/s w/ my first birth, twins born at 35 and 1 day. First baby breech. I have had 6 VBACs, all at home. I suggest seeking midwifery care at home. The liklihood of another abruption is quite small and the risk of rupture is the same if you were a first time mother expecting. Getting big during preg is not a risk factor for ruture. I have had mostly 9+ babies w/ each of my VBACs. I recommend you visit ICAN and join the yahoogroups. There you will get accurate information as well as help finding a care provider in your area.
