First of all, I am so sorry for your loss mama! I think the U/S would be really good to do, they can see from it if the m/c is complete or if there is still more inside of you...I know of people who have had bleeding return after m/c and there was still more inside. I really hope your m/w can help you. If you have a lot of bleeding, or are worried before your appt, just give her a call! Praying for you!!

And, yes, I would expect there to be a sac/placenta at 12 weeks...the U/S would be best way to know for sure!

Re: More miscarriage questions! Is this normal?

I would think there would definitely be placenta, although it likely was part of the large clump of tissue/baby that you flushed. I just miscarried and was supposed to be 12 weeks but baby had stopped developing at 6. So there was just a tiny sac, but what came out was a very large clump of tissue which MW told me would have been placenta. Hope you're doing better now!
