I'm so sorry for your matter how long ago.... Our angel baby was born still on 10/22/10....we celebrate that day every year....if it falls on a weekend, we go to a pumpkin patch...and, we go to dinner (it has always been at the Olive Garden) and we wrote messages on balloons and them send them to Heaven.

As previously said, everyone celebrates differently. I hope your SO will come to realize what the celebration means to you <3

I'm so sorry. We celebrate our stillborn son's birthday every year too. He would be 6 on the 13th of this month. ((hugs)) Stillborn, still born, still loved.

So sorry for your loss. Do what feels right to you to honor your little one and yourself.

I light a candle for my sweet spirit baby every year. I'm the only one in the family who remembers either her due date or her passing date, but I've come to terms with that. Maybe their way of coping with the loss is to just not pin it to any one day, but I need something to mark those moments. Birth - even if you don't get to keep your baby - is an enormous transition for a woman, and I don't think there's a guy on the planet that will ever really understand that.
